Long fibre-reinforced plastic components make stringent
demands of the component development process owing to the manufacturing
process involved and the material properties. ESORO conducts extrusion
simulations in order to be able to model the process and draw conclusions
in respect of design and construction.
These results are utilised for press control and in component design.
In addition, they play a major role in tool and mould design.
The following important effects can be simulated and evaluated with
the aid of extrusion simulations:

-Flow fronts
-Fill-out
-Binding seams and air inclusions
-Also fibre orientations (anisotropies) to a restricted extent
